The Essence of Rajasthan

A journey through Princely Rajasthan (16 Days )

Tour Summary

Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Bundi, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Mandawa

A land where historic battles were fought, a land that witnesses romance blossom in the most grandiose manner, a land where colours and celebrations form the very ethos of the state’s social fabric. Welcome to the state of Rajasthan, an epic tale of valour, love and festivity.
Once a princely state and home to several Rajputana Kingdoms, the state of Rajasthan has seen several brave warriors emerge from its soil, who ruled from their magnificent forts and palaces. These structures even today, after many hundred years, stand tall in all their glory.
Rajasthan is rightfully India’s regal asset, but looking at it only through that prism will be unfair to the varied layers that it has. Driving through the humble streets of the rural villages of the state and interacting with the diverse tribes that sing their own folklore makes you appreciate a life beyond the glossiness of urban city life. And do not miss out on an evening filled with song and dance with the locals, wearing their vibrant and colourful traditional attires!
Much of Rajasthan’s diversity also lies in its unique topography, which includes a vast cover of the picturesque Thar desert studded with attractive oases. A camel safari comes in handy to explore this beauty. You will also see in Rajasthan a wide stretch of lush green forests that are home to a thriving wildlife population, and that once included the world famous legendary Bengal tiger, Machli. And if you still want more, there are some of the world’s oldest mountain ranges and stunning lakes that make Rajasthan the picture perfect experience.
